We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or other assistive technology.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We have not been independently certified against that standard, and some parts of this website may not meet it in full.

In building this website we have aimed to:

• use clear headings and a consistent page structure;
• provide text alternatives for images that carry information;
• keep text and background colours readable against each other;
• make the website usable with a keyboard as well as a mouse; and
• keep pages readable on phones and tablets, and at increased zoom.
