Hiking & Camping Equipment Hire for Groups

Tell us what you need, your group size, where and when. We’ll take care of the rest.

What We Do

We supply premium hiking and camping equipment to groups across Victoria — schools, outdoor education providers, camps, community organisations and corporate programs. Tents and shelters, sleeping bags and mats, rainwear and gaiters, packs and duffles, cooking systems and hygiene kits. The fleet is built so that even the largest groups get the right equipment, in the right sizes, whatever the conditions or location.

Every hire is built around your program rather than sold as a fixed package. We work out what’s needed and how much, deliver it sorted the way you’ve asked for, and collect it when you’re finished. Between programs the gear comes back to us to be checked, cleaned and repaired — so there’s nothing to store, wash or fix at your end.

Why Hire Is the Answer

Cheaper than owning

The expensive purchase price on new gear is only part of the cost. Storage, maintenance, repairs and eventual replacement cost money every year after that.

Sizes that fit the whole group

Numbers change and so do the participants. A set bought for a group of Year 7s won’t cut it for the Year 11s.

Nothing comes back to you

At the end of the trip you hand it back. No sorting, airing, cleaning, drying, repairing or finding somewhere to store it.

The right gear for each trip

No making do with what you’ve got, and no issues with conflicting seasonal programs.

Gear that stays current

Buy once and you’re locked into that year’s technology. Modern laminates and materials have a finite lifespan whether they get used or not.

Environmentally sustainable

Hire is an extremely efficient use of resources compared to individuals buying new.

Who We Work With

Tents pitched beside the Gippsland Lakes on a school camp

From kitting out entire year levels for journey-based programs, to supplying outdoor education classes with specialist equipment — our school clients choose us because we work around their needs and help to make a difficult job a little bit easier.

Putting students in good quality, comfortable equipment for their outdoor experiences can help to spark a lifelong love of adventure. Hiring from us provides a cost-effective, environmentally sustainable way for school clients to facilitate this. We use our experience to sort out the sizing and gear requirements for you, or supply try-on gear directly to your school for that added peace of mind.

For journey-based providers, equipment can make or break a client’s program, particularly on those ones where the weather doesn’t play nice and there’s no hardtop camp to retreat to.

We offer tailored, flexible hire options for providers so they can have peace of mind that their staff and clients will be rolling out with the right gear. We supplement fleets for those large, multi-location trips or provide specialist equipment for those out-of-the-ordinary programs such as snow camping.

When you return, no need to clean, repair, maintain or store any equipment, so your staff can go home and you can focus your time and money elsewhere.

Our camp clients range from large-scale residential adventure camps for kids, to boutique wilderness retreats for adults.

Increasingly, our camp clients are incorporating a journey-based, campout experience into their programs, but don’t want the hassle of purchasing, storing or maintaining their own equipment — that’s where we can help.

If you only need a small amount of equipment for an overnight hike, or an entire fleet for a multi-day journey, talk to us today about your program.

If you’re planning a private group expedition, making sure everyone has suitable equipment can be a tricky and sometimes awkward task.

Take the guesswork and risk out of it by hiring from our premium fleet of equipment. Our gear has kept clients warm at Everest Base Camp, dry in the rainforests of Indonesia and comfortable in conditions all around the world.

We understand that getting to and from an expedition location, before you even need the gear, can take up most of the time — so we offer expedition groups flexible hire solutions to work around their itinerary.

Walkers crossing a creek on the Jatbula Trail

We work closely with Scout groups, hiking and bushwalking clubs, local sporting clubs and community event organisers to supply equipment for a large range of programs and event types.

Expensive and technical equipment can be one of the biggest barriers to people getting out into nature. We are strong believers that giving people access to experiences in the outdoors can only be good for society and environmental conservation — so we aim to lower that barrier by giving people access to an affordable, fuss-free way to get the equipment they need to get out there.

Are you a part of a community group or not-for-profit organisation that is looking for a cost-effective and sustainable way to have a great hiking and camping experience? We would love to work with you!

Our premium fleet and size range can make sure your group stays comfortable on the trail.

How It Works

01Tell us

Dates, group size, where you’re headed and what you need. That’s enough to start.

02We plan

We work out the list, the quantities and the sizing so you don’t have to worry about it.

To your location — sorted, packed, labelled and ready to go.

04We collect

When your program is done, everything comes back to us — nothing for you to clean, repair or store.

What Our Clients Say

Equipment Cleaning and Repair Services

We’re cleaning and maintaining our own fleet of equipment — why not let us look after your gear while we’re at it?

Cleaning, repairing and maintaining technical outdoor gear takes time and know-how. Done poorly, it can ruin an expensive piece of kit. Done properly, it adds years to its life.
